Geneva is Principal Sponsor of the National Finals
2013 PRESS RELEASE

The developing Geneva Instruments is Principal Sponsor of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain for a third time. 

Said Tim Oldroyd of Geneva: “The ‘National’ remains an icon of achievement and an inspiration across the world to players, with which we’re very proud to be associated. Without doubt, the British National creates international interest in Geneva instruments and, in turn, Geneva is delighted to contribute something to the world’s most prestigious competition series in the home of brass banding.”

Also commenting, Craig Buchan, Geneva’s Managing Director, enthused: “Brass bands are at the heart of what we do as a company and we are excited once again to be supporting our ‘home’ championships. We feel honoured to be given this opportunity to again share the stages of the National Finals with the nation’s best bands and to be able to contribute to the health of the banding nation.”

The 2011 National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain

Allianz,  Yamaha and Wright and Round and Centre Stage Uniforms (for the RAH Final) are proud, to sponsor 2011 National

Kapitol Promotions Ltd., which runs the National Championships, announces that Allianz insurance is again the Associate Sponsor, Wright and Round has agreed to sponsor the Best Instrumentalist awards in each section, and Yamaha is the Percussion Sponsor of the 2011 National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain. Centre Stage Uniforms has sponsored the Royal Albert Hall Final on 15 October.

Philip Morris of Kapitol Promotions, which presents the ‘Finals’, commented: “Sponsorship is always welcome, so we're delighted that both Allianz and Yamaha have decided to support the event again this year, as well as for the fact that Wright and Round music publishing company is also supporting the events for the first time along with Centre Stage Uniforms for the Royal Albert Hall Final.”

Geneva is new headline sponsor for 'National' 

Geneva Instruments has stepped in as Principal Sponsor the remainder for the 2010 National Finals series following the withdrawal of Schreiber & Keilwerth, which went into voluntary administration earlier this year. Tim Oldroyd, the Company’s Managing Director, who has been involved with the music business for over 25 years, announced: “Geneva is extremely proud to be principal sponsors of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain. We are very proud of Geneva instruments, in particular of the fact that they are hand-built in Britain. With our dedicated British workforce, we know that we are producing some of the finest instruments available on the market today and, once again, flying the flag for British Brass manufacturing. Geneva is a great British instrument company now sponsoring a Great British Championship for a great British and world-class movement.”

Allianz and Yamaha to co-sponsor

Kapitol Promotions Ltd., which runs the National Championships, also announces the addition of Allianz insurance as a co-sponsor alongside with Yamaha, the latter sponsoring all percussion and technicians used at the ‘Finals’ for a second year.
Colin Young, Marketing Manager for Allianz Musical Insurance, commented: “Allianz Musical Insurance is proud to support the National Brass Band Championships 2010. This prestigious event is one of the most important on the musical calendar, and we are thrilled to be involved this year.

Also commenting upon Yamaha’s involvement, the Company’s Marketing and Promotion Manager for its Band and Orchestral Division, Ian Frankland, enthused: “Yamaha is delighted to support the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain for the second year running as Percussion Sponsor. This event is highly regarded as the world's premier banding contest and we are keen to ensure that participating bands use only the highest quality of percussion.”
