Kapitol Music Panel is Harrison's Dream

Samantha Harrison, formerly of the successful Elland Silver Band, has been appointed as a fifth member of the Music Panel that selects the test-piece for the British National Finals and Regional Championships.
Announcing the appointment, Philip Morris said: "Samantha is an experienced cornet player and conductor who has worked with bands at all levels for many years, so she will be a tremendous asset".
Samantha Harrison, who founded Elland Silver Youth Band in 1995 and has led it to many major contest wins, also commented: I'm delighted to have been invited to be on the Panel. I see this as a great opportunity to use my knowledge and experience of working with young players and grassroots banding to influence the music chosen".
