York extends product range

York has has launched the Prescience range of instruments in the medium price range.

The models are suitable for beginners, as well as for experienced musicians and, say York, offer an unbeatable price-quality relation that will make them the first choice for many musicians.

Said a spokesman for the Company: "Musicians and dealers were both equally enthused about the introduction of the first instruments. One English euphonium player pronounced them absolutely unique in this price class, whilst a Swiss dealer commented positively about the workmanship of the new instruments and said that they were on a par with professional lines, in terms of quality."

The new Prescience series includes a cornet, tenor horn, baritone, three and four valve euphonium, and a Bb and Eb tuba of particular compact construction. The instruments are of the typical brass band style, with pump valves, without the compensating system. They have nickle-silver outer slides, the typical York design as well as a high-grade case with backpack carrying system and transport rollers for the larger instruments.

Kapitol announces York Brass as principal sponsor of the ‘National’ for third consecutive year

Kapitol Promotions Ltd. announces that it has awarded the principal sponsorship of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain to York Brass, for the third consecutive year.
