Australian Open Festival builds on inaugural success

This year's Festival will take place between 23 and 25 October, in the resorts and hotels at Tweed Heads on the Queensland/New South Wales Border (above) and organisers are searching for a suitable venue in New Zealand for 2010.
The Festival comprises two events with prize money of AU$5,000 each: The Yamaha Australasian Open Champion (determined by a set test-piece) and the York Australasian Open Entertainment Champion (determined by a 30-minute concert programme).
The FABB has revealed the list of invited bands for 2009 as:
