Due to one player gaining a place at MIT and another moving out of the area, the Rockville Brass Band has an immediate vacancy for good 3rd cornet and 1st players. The Rockville Brass Band also has an immediate requirement for two percussionists. The first candidate will feel comfortable playing tuned (mallet) and untuned instruments, will be a good reader and will have a proven track record of performance. The second candidate will be a good reader and will have some experience of playing, though not necessarily percussion, which he/she hopes to build upon in the percussion section. Rockville Brass Band rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9.30 in Newport Mill Middle School, Kensington, MD, 20895.
