Regent Community

History

Regent Community Brass was formed in Wembley, north London in 2012 as an expansion to the Regent Brass banding family. The band has been under the direction of Chris Bearman since 2014.

We are an enthusiastic, welcoming and still growing band who enjoy playing a varied and entertaining repertoire accessible to both player and listener alike. Our schedule has a focus on community events; we are to be found regularly on Queen's Park bandstand over the summer months and giving evening concerts in local churches throughout the year.

On top of this, we also compete actively on the brass band contesting scene, both in the National Brass Band Championships 4th section and at other competitions. Notably, we won 1st place in the London and Southern Counties 4th Section Regional Championships in 2017, and 2nd place in the 2nd section Southern Counties (SCABA) contest in Crawley for two years running.

Only formed in 2012 by Regent Brass (who have also qualified for this year's Nationals, in Section 1). First ever appearance at Nationals this year.
